Inilah Makanan Indonesia yang Menjadi Mahal di Belanda




Masakan Indonesia memang terkenal kaya bumbu. Konon, Belanda dulu menganggap rempah-rempah yang terdapat di Indonesia seperti emas dan minyak masa kini. Tak heran bila Belanda terus menjajah Tanah Air hingga 350 tahun.

Kini, masakan Nusantara ternyata masih menjadi primadona di negeri Kincir Angin tersebut. Salah satu warga Belanda mengaku gemar menikmati masakan Indonesia. "Saya suka karena berbumbu gurih. Saking saya terpengaruh masakan Asia, masakan Eropa terasa hambar," ujar Richard van der Schaar kepada merdeka.com,Selasa (11/12) malam.

Namun, Richard menyayangkan mengenai harga masakan Indonesia di Belanda yang mahal namun tidak seenak aslinya. "Misalnya rendang, beda banget dengan yang di Indonesia. Kalau masakan Indonesia berjenis ikan selalu mahal di Belanda," ujar Richard yang kebetulan selalu melakukan perjalanan ke Indonesia.

Richard mengaku, harga masakan Indonesia menjadi mahal karena memang bahan-bahan dan koki ahli khusus untuk masakan Indonesia mahal.

Hal itulah yang mendorong Kementerian Perdagangan bekerja sama dengan kedutaan besar Indonesia di Den Haag untuk memasarkan bumbu rendang di 1.500 restoran di Belanda.
